Top Speed is presented by Martin Utberg, who is also the producer of the show. Martin, originally from Rotterdam, came up with Top Speed in 2005 after Herman Vaanholt, organiser of Bavaria City Racing Rotterdam, asked him if he was interested in making a show on his event. Realizing that it would be a programme like many other programmes on Dutch television, Martin came up with the idea to make a programme about speed; on the road, in the air and on water. This unique formula has resulted in a great show which is broadcast on at least 20 regional TV stations in the Netherlands, Car Channel on the national network and on this website and I-tunes.

It is clear that Martin has found his place in this show; in season three, he himself participates in many of the events around the world and in every episode he shows us where his passion lies.
